Adventures with Chocolate!

Chocolate Goes to Milwaukee

'Mom' and 'Dad' had to travel to Milwaukee for a conference and some other work-related activities. BillyBob and I were thrilled that we were allowed to tag along. They were busy during the day, so BillyBob and I were left in the hotel room. It was okay, though - we were able to really relax. BillyBob never had a vacation like that before, and he really enjoyed the hotel room. We had time to read the paper and everything. Even the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The best part? - we had a bed all to ourselves!!

Part of the fun was getting there - we got to ride in a plane! Unfortunately, it was too crowded so we had to stay in the bags. That was not nice, as I was quite cramped - I had to share my space with 'Mom's' computer. I was glad to get out.

BillyBob found the best spot. He didn't move much the whole week. Doesn't he look comfortable?

Chocolate in Milwaukee
This was my favorite spot, especially after that long flight.

The conference 'Dad' attended had a Western theme - so he brought me some cowboy boots. Even better, BillyBob got his very own sheriff badge!

See BillyBob's badge? He was so excited to get that, he's always wanted to be a sheriff. He takes his job very seriously, too. Unfortunately, when we got home, the cows were NOT happy to see that he had been promoted. Oh well.

Here's us sitting in our room waiting for our 'folks' to come home.

While we were visiting, we got to make a new friend! Father was a lot of fun, we had a great time getting to know him.
Chocolate in Milwaukee
We had so much fun visiting with him. Even my cousin Clyde had a good time. He really wanted to go home with Father so he could sing at church, but 'grandma' gently reminded him that the grandkids would miss him. I think Father was relieved.
Chocolate in Milwaukee
It was really hard to leave Milwaukee. We have so many fun friends and family there. I hope we get to visit again soon.

Even though we had a great time on our trip, it was good to get back home and just hang out together.
