Adventures with Chocolate!

Chocolate's Christmas

Merry Christmas! It seems like a long time since last Christmas, and I was really excited to celebrate the holiday (and my birthday) again. This was BillyBob's first Christmas, too, so it was very special. Unfortunately, we couldn't go with 'Mom' and 'Dad' to family festivities because their suitcase was too full - after our trip to England, we weren't ready to be stuffed and smashed into bags again, anyway. Staying home was OK, though ... we were able to wait up for Santa and shared a long chat with him. He has many stories and really is a jolly fellow. Guess what? He brought us cookies!

I hope you had a good holiday, too!

Merry Christmas from Chocolate
I got to wear my Santa hat again! I have missed it, it is so cute. Here BillyBob and I are helping make Christmas gift bags for some of 'Mom' and 'Dad's' friends. They got some good things - lots of chocolate! (No, not me!)

Merry Christmas from Chocolate
Still helping with the gift bags. I like making gifts for family and friends, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Oh, wait, I am, anyway! Ha ha. BillyBob kept falling into the bags, though - he says it was an accident, but I think he was trying to get some candy.

Merry Christmas from Chocolate
This was a great treat - 'Mom' let us help make Christmas cookies! Here I am stirring. Don't worry, I had an apron on so I wouldn't get dirty, and 'Mom' was watching so I wouldn't burn myself. It's always best to have an adult help you with these things because you don't want to make a mess or get hurt.

BillyBob was watching very closely. He's never seen cookies made before. He got to wear an apron, too ... but he really liked mine! (Especially since he's never seen a lobster.)

BillyBob got to help, too! We had so much fun making cookies. From what we have heard, everyone liked them very much. Did you know it gets very warm in the kitchen when you bake cookies? I had to take my Santa hat off before we finished. We were very careful not to get any fur in the cookies, either.
