Adventures with Chocolate!

Chocolate Goes to a Horse Trials

Wow, this was a first for me! My cousin is no longer showing in dressage (he's developed arthritis - I hope I never get that!), so 'Mom' volunteered at a local horse trials. I've never been to one, and it was lots of fun. I like to jump, so I hope that I can compete in this one day!

Chocolate at the airport
It was a beautiful spring day to sit under the trees. I've never seen a pinecone so big!

Chocolate and the symphony
Me and 'Mom' waiting for the next horse to come by. It was really neat being so close to the jumping horses. They looked like they were having fun.

Chocolate and the symphony
I tried jumping over these logs. Very big! I need more practice...
Chocolate taco
Now this was fun! I got to play with the walkie-talkie! The problem was, no one could hear me. But, it was fun, anyway.
Chocolate taco
This jump was more my size, but I was so pooped by this time, I barely made it over.
Chocolate snow
Here I am taking notes on which horses made it over the jumps. I helped 'Mom' with this because she was distracted taking pictures.
Chocolate snow
Hanging out under the trees. We could have sat here all day, it was so beautiful and peaceful!
Chocolate presents
Oh, THIS was a lot of fun1 'Mom's friend was driving around on this 4-wheeler the whole time, and I wanted a ride sooo bad. She let me hop on, but I had to leave before I figured out how to start it up. I really wanted to drive, it looked like so much fun.
mom's new toy
This is my cousin's stablemate, Lovie. Check it out - we could be twins! We are the same colors and have the same star! I don't think he'd fit in my Star Wars T-shirt, though.

Chocolate deer
Lovie likes my mane ... he said he was going to ask his human to do his the same.

Christmas lights
This is funny ... while we were away, BillyBob's friend Tigger was busy at work watching the computers so 'Mom' and 'Dad' could have some off time. He really wanted me to share that with you ... I guess Tigger feels left out sometimes.

Christmas lights
Tigger is very helpful. He was going over 'Dad's study books to help him study for his big computer test. It worked ... 'Dad' did really well, thanks to Tigger's tutoring!

Anyway, it was a really good day. I hope to do it again!
