I don't always get to go places far from home. It's not so bad, I get to sleep a lot with my favorite pillow. Here are few snippets showing what I've been up to closer to home...
It's fitness time! 'Dad' got a new workout machine, and BillyBob and I jumped in to help assemble it. It was quite a workout just putting it together! |
BillyBob was instructing me on my form. 'Dad' says I'm too fluffy and I need some muscle. This was really hard to do! Oh - you can see my new Star Wars T-shirt! 'Dad' went to the Star Wars Concert (horses weren't allowed, so I couldn't go) and brought me my very own T-shirt! I love Star Wars! And BillyBob got a light saber!

One and two and huff and puff ... Wow, this thing really makes you work! I was ready for a nap after this. I hope to see some results soon! So does 'Dad'...

Party time! It was 'Mom's' 40th birthday, so we had a party to celebrate that and Christmas. It was lots of fun talking with everyone - I hadn't met some of them before, so it was interesting to hear their stories. I got a new Santa hat just for the occasion - I love it!

It's home improvement time! 'Mom' and 'Dad' had to fix the floor in the bathroom, so I tried my hoof at laying down ceramic tile. It's a lot of work and very messy. I found out later that I should not have used a hammer on the tile - it breaks! 'Dad' was not happy...oops. |
Here I am using a level so I could make sure the wood was straight. This part was easy, I liked using the level! |
We had to use a nail gun to put the trim in place. I don't like guns, so I ran the air compressor. There are lots of dials and knobs and it was VERY NOISY.

BillyBob got to use the nail gun to put the trim in place. He was very excited about that! Doesn't he look like a professional? He forgot to wear his eye protection, though. Fortunately, there were no injuries and BillyBob really enjoyed himself...and thought maybe it would help him keep the cows out of trouble. 'Mom' said 'no'. Then, he asked 'Dad' when the next home improvement project would begin so he could use the nail gun again. 'Dad' said ... not for awhile. Drat! |
This was something new...'Dad' let me try sawing some wood. This was very hard. BillyBob held the board in place for me while I tried to push the saw.

I had to push really hard to cut the wood. This was a lot of work and very messy, too. I was glad to help, but I think next time I will ask 'Dad' to use the power saw. It was a very busy day. |
Yay! I got to go to a Mardi Gras parade! It was a really bright, sunny day, perfect for a parade! I went with 'Mom', 'Dad' and my 'cousins'. We had a really nice time. It was the first parade for my 'cousins', too. |
I love meeting my fans! These two officers were so kind, and agreed to have their picture taken with me! Wasn't that nice? They really work hard during Mardi Gras, so I was happy they took time for a photo. Thanks guys! |
I had to take a break between floats, it was really tiring. It was so bright, I even got to wear my sunglasses! We had a really nice time. |

WHEEEEEE! 'Dad' let me ride the Roomba (it's a robot vacuum cleaner). It's just my size! I went all over the house on 'Roach' (that's what its name is!). It was so much fun ... except when it knocked me off going under furniture. |
Happy Mardi Gras! Everyone was celebrating the festivities around town, so we wanted to get in on the fun. 'Mom' and 'Dad' didn't want to take me downtown – too many people and too rowdy, they said – so we built this parade float and I threw beads to my friends! It was fun, but I was tired when I finished. |
I wanted to help out, so I thought that I would vacuum. But...as you can see, it wasn't the best choice for me. It's kind of hard to vacuum when you can't reach the floor!

'Dad' decided to give me a ride since I couldn't do the vacuuming myself - it was a LOT of fun flying around the house like this. WEEEEEEEEE! I think I'll help again next week.

Movie and music night. 'Mom' and 'Dad' were gone one night, so me and my friends were watching movies and having some nice cold root beer. The bad thing was, CowTu got his helmet stuck in the DVD player and now it's broken... |
When 'Mom' was out of town recently, 'Dad' and I spent some time doing 'guy stuff'. It was nice to hang out in my boxers and read a magazine. I did miss 'Mom', though. |
Look at this - SNOW!! I got to play in the snow! Know what? This is in OUR yard! We don't see snow very often in Louisiana, so this was really special. Me and BillyBob had a really fun time playing in the snow, and then it was nice to come into the warm house and get some hot cocoa. What a nice Christmas present - even though it was a little early. Do you like my Santa hat? It's perfect for snowy weather! |
